Have you been looking for the Brazil spiritual places to visit? Giorgia got your back!
There’s such a widespread misconception about safety around the world.
Before coming to Brazil, so many people warned me, “Watch out, Brazil is so dangerous!”
But honestly, I kind of feel safe here.
I’m not just saying this to romanticize my experience. Having traveled extensively across the globe, I’ve learned to read the energy of places, and Brazil, with its vibrant culture and genuinely warm-hearted people, hasn’t failed to make me feel safe and welcome.
Of course, like anywhere else in the world, I remain mindful of my surroundings, keep an eye on my belongings, and try to blend in as much as possible (though that part gets a little tricky the moment I open my mouth, haha).
Trusting my intuition plays a significant role too. That inner voice often guides me when something feels off, and it’s never let me down.
Listening to locals’ advice about areas to avoid or where to go is also invaluable. They know their home best and are usually more than willing to help.
Ultimately, I believe that safety is not just about the place but also about how you carry yourself and engage with the world. Respect and understanding can open doors, even in places others deem intimidating.
Travel has a beautiful way of breaking stereotypes and misconceptions. Brazil has been no exception—it’s taught me that fear often comes from the unknown, and the more you immerse yourself in a place, the less fearful it becomes.
To anyone planning a visit here or anywhere else: embrace the journey, trust your instincts, and keep an open heart. The world is full of beauty and kindness waiting to be discovered.
With love,
Giorgia
